Alright, it was pretty nice out today so i figured id snap a couple quick pics and throw up some info on das new toy! :D

94 passat wagon VR6, 5 spd. (of course)

Andy had texted me about it on eurowerks. I responded quickly, they wanted $400 but it had a starting issue, wiring etc. had been sitting for months and the kid wanted it gone. after going round and round with another minn. local gonna snag it for engine trans etc. (dave mallman, for those of you that know him, funny dude, meet him this year. had the reflux silver mk3 VRT gti. super nice car, since parted and sold) anyways...

So finally nailed down the details and me, ryan (dudepal), and a drunkin jordan (saab900CE) left at early ass in the morning and headed to buffalo minnesota. (there are fun pics on the way up etc, on jordan's camera, ahem!)

After a fun trip up, grabbed the dolly got the car, had some more fun drunkin shennigans, 5 hrs later back in cedar rapids at caseys (orangedub) for the remainder of the night.

Got up hungover as fuckin balls the next morning pushed it off the dolly into the garage. raised the hood did some simple spark tests etc... soon to look up and wonder.. hmmm. that wiring harness looks loose... jordan reaches over and plugs it in.. click... (you gotta be shittin me right?) hop in the car hit the key, she fires right up. lol!

It's got some lil issues here and there still, needs a knock sensor, probably coolant temp sensor etc... to really be running like a top, but it runs well enough ive been drivin it to work lately.

Over all it needs a damn good cleaning, but heated seats keep teh bum nice n toasty, all the windows work and the sunroof even works! lol. overall probably some of the best $400 bux ive spent.

Got lots of fun plans for it, up soon is coils, fun wheels (deciding lol.) obviously tint, exhaust and lil cosmetic fixes, chip, etc. lil stuff. it will be pretty much a rat mobile. a fun one at that.

btw, i've seen the aftermath of a b3 hitting a deer at 100+mph. We just replaced the headlight and the grill and everything was fine, except of course the deer.

thanks guys, its been a pretty fun projekt so far. good to know she will hold up plowin a deer dan, lol. dont plan on it, but you never know. lol.

update: called andy(dubtuner) up on thursday, he didnt have much goin on so i stopped up. we yanked the front end off, since it's been having a misfire, and just not runnin for shit really. deleted the secondary air (eff you ozone, lolz, from the look of it not that it was in working condition.) pounded a 3/4in frost plug in the block (in case anyone wants to know the size, and its some change at a parts store) once all that ish is outta the way, did a front knock sensor, which was def. in need, and crank sensor, replaced the coolant temp sensor in hopes of revitalizing my temp gauge, nope. must be in the cluster. slapped it all back together, took it out for a hot lap or two, runs great, no codes. awesome. still could use a 02 sensor. but its def running a ton better now!

and brett...hell yes minnesoooota! don't worry bro! ill be up there soon, will def. be there for eurowerks! you better come join in the shenanigans this year!

What are your plans with the stock BBS wheels, Anthony?

Are they in good condition? Looks like a bit of discoloration. I've always liked those wheels and I think they would fit well on my mk2 :).

also: figured out the wiper problem, figured out which relay it was, replaced it sure enough. wipers work again. $60 fuckin relay though! damn. thank you junkyard for $120 worth of relays... fo free! :D

I got MOAR BOAT...well its my pops but he's cool. and we got all the ski ropes, wakeboards, kneeboards, tubes and ski's but outboard and only 17' i believe
