Why is yours in the garage Gary? Weather the reason?

Weather mostly (a little cold and crappy lately for summer tires), and the wife has been parking the 3rd car in the driveway behind my car, so its either take the 2000 Dodge Stratus  or the Audi. I figure she has been parking the dodge behind my car so as punishment I would make her continue to drive it :D

So pretty much Gary, if both VAGs are in the garage she gets screwed into driving the stratus anyways :) Nice plan!

Outside is the right place for the Stratus....does she drive the Audi when you drive the R32? Or do you hide the keys from her?

Actually, the VAG cars are always in the garage. If she parks behind the Audi she has at least given me the option to drive my car, so many times I will take the Dodge. Its kind of nice keeping miles off the R anyway, its a 16 mile trip from home to work. I don't mind letting the R sit and taking the Dodge for the boring interstate drive to work.

The stratus only gets in the garage when we take one of the other cars out of town over night. Our deal is the Dodge gets driven every day by one of us, that way we kind of minimize miles on the "good" cars. It seems to work well.

1.5 year old A4 has 14k miles.
3 year old R32 has 37k miles.
7 year old Dodge has 73k miles.

I just pretend the interstate and freeway are the autobaun. Hell I see one big wreck almost every week now...it's crazy.

I went on the Autobahn when I was in Germany and it was definitely one of the coolest things ever. The only place people would follow the speed limits were in other countries like Switzerland. Like 95% of the cars there are also manual, and of course are mostly VWs, Audis, or BMWs.

The whole Europe is VWs. They should rename it VeWrope. :D
