I didn't see one already? so lets start one.
Blu-Rays are pricey so it would be nice to have a reference list of the good and bad. I'll start
I just got the speed racer movie on blue ray I give it a big:tu:
it's possibly the best looking blu-ray I've seen yet the color's are awesome. I for one like the movie but I understand that its a cartoon turned live action and don't expect realistic stunt's. It's also a pg movie. I give it a rent for sure and buy if you like it after that. This is what I did
All the bond blu-rays are must buy's, They look so clean and I for one am a fan of the new Bond's regardless if they are on track with the old Bonds or not they are great movies

I have recently picked up Taking of Pelham 123 and Inglorious Bastards on Bluray. Both of them are pretty much awesome. Great visual, multichannel PCM, etc...Good buys!

Both Transformers movies are great Blu-rays, but everyone should have or watch the Planet Earth series on Blu-ray. Nature never looked so good.

I swear I was thinking the exact same thing! While I don't have Planet Earth on BR, I do have it on HD/DVD (I got a free HD/DVD player when I bought my TV and got the Planet Earth at a good price). Planet Earth is visually one of the best things in high def!
edit - and the PS3 is great for not only the games but as a Blue Ray player!

Public Enemies is good then? I've heard alot of bad reviews but, I don't always go off what others say cause I've liked alot of movies people bash. Is it worth haveing on blue ray or a good dvd?

Up and Monsters, inc. Amazing, animated movies are where bluray really shines. Regular film movies... eh... it's how I expect it to look, nothing really blows me away in those.

I enjoyed the historical aspect of the movie because almost all of the locations which the movie showed were the actual sites were Johnny D was at, such as the jail he broke out of in Indiana with a wooden gun, the movie theater in Chicago that he died in front of, the attention to historically accurate detail is very good though some but few parts are Hollywood. Imo the movie paints a good, small picture of what John Dillinger's life was like.

I bought it and regret it. It's a good movie but it's one that I would either rent on blue ray or rent it and burn it. Not a movie I'd watch over and over, and not overly visually pleasing as far as HD goes.

i have a few that i quite like on blu-ray, some have been already mentioned
-star trek
-public enemies
-quantum of solace & casino royale
-the hangover
-transformers
but my absolute favorite, esp for its cinematography is Valkyrie
the next one that i'd really like to find on blu-ray though is jurassic park, i think that one would be bad ass

Best Blu-ray you can see: Planet Earth. 300 was crap, they added extra grain for the feel of the movie and in the end the DVD was better than the Blu-ray. The Dark Knight was good, especially in shots of the city. Iron man was awesome, lots of detail everywhere. Cars is very good on Blu-ray, you can see bits of rubber and whatnot getting thrown around on the track. Also they did a really good job putting Office Space on Blu-ray, watched the DVD and Blu-ray side by side one night when I was bored.

^ This is the site I go to when I want a Blu-ray reviews to know if I should buy the Blu-ray or DVD.
