i like the dbadged look a lot esp on the sedans. i like it on the hatches too...but im keeping mine on and painting them red for accents in the back since im going black and red theme

I say keep it too. I like a front badgeless, for some reason shaving the back looks to ricey. I like to keep it some what stock looking.

The jetta/passat reason is a good one too.

and for the comment about dbadging looking ricey... i dunno where that came from most ricers put badges on. i thought u loved the euro look...and last time i check most people going for the euro look want clean subtle lines and dbadge their trunk for the clean look...

uh, what? Taking badges off looks ricey? I agree with Jake on this. Ricers put extra badges on.

Removing badges helps bring out the natural body lines of the car and enhances the look of the car, IMO.

Ive seen a lot of ricers in my time with no badges on the back. So im just speaking for personal experience, but that was growing up with a bunch of asian rice in califronia, so it may be different out here or from the east coast, or maybe times have changed. I just dont like a shaved trunk, looks bald and naked.
