I'm selling my clunker and just gonna drive my car all the time now. It's a 1981 F-150. 2wd with air and an 8track. The truck runs very good and is very dependable. It does leak a tiny bit of oil, and the exhaust has a hole in the y pipe so it sounds loud. I've driven it for 2 years with no problems at all. The brakes are good, tires have about 4k miles on them and the battery is about two months old. I'm asking $1000 obo. I just want to get enough out of it to buy a set of winter wheels and tires, and I would even be open for trading for a set, plus cash, if anyone has one that is 5x112. Post if interested. Thanks guys.

Really? I could of sworn it was 79 in the F150s but I don't hardly know anything about fords. Fuckin' Volkswagen had it since 1968, not that it was anything worth writing home about.

82 was the first cassett players, 85 was the first optional fi F-series. In 87 it was all fi, no more carbs...I think. If you want to talk how long ford had the technogy, see petrol conspiracy theories in the U.S., ...or just wikipedia
