Another new guy

Hi everyone, just checking the place out. I am usually driving around anywhere on the West side of Des Moines or downtown (where I work) in a blue R32 with tint, clear bumper markers, short antenna and currently my 5 spoke winter wheels. The wife drives a B7 A4 so we are definitely a german family for sure. The site looks good! :TU:

The A4 is a Quartz Grey Metallic 2.0t quattro, HID (adaptive), XM radio, leather, dark wood interior trim (didn't ask for it but it looks good actually) and automatic transmission (she says her left foot doesn't work). It is an awesome car, very quick even without a reflash (yet) and extremely comfortable on long drives. It has all the major options other than sport package and nav.

The R32 has leather (the only option) along with a Carbonio CAI, GIAC reflash, VF Engineering pendulum mount and soon a Neuspeed 22mm rear sway bar.

I tried to attach pics of the cars taken with out Nikon D200, hopefully it works.

OT, I am on a Mac and the box you type a message in shows up dark grey and the type is black, is that something to do with the forum settings or is it something I need to change on my computer? We just picked this thing up this morning so I don't know much about it yet....

great looking cars man. glad to see you made it over to PKG. the blue R32 looks really sharp in that hue. have you figured out what kind of wheels you're going to get to replace the Aristos?

the reply box color issue is something adam is going to fix, he just hasn't gotten to it yet. i'm sure he'll probably correct it sometime today.

we have/had a bland light grey pic in the background that im removing, sounds like it is more annoying on a mac then a PC!

I'm not sure what I am replacing the Aristos with yet. I actually won't get anything without selling them first. I like them most of the time, except for when I have to clean them. I would say I am going to get some baller wheels like JLines or HRE's, but I just can't see spending that much money on wheels....

^^ yeah, i hear ya there. it amazes me that people can spend upwards of $2K-3K on a set of wheels. if i bought wheels like that i think i'd have to keep them in my room and just have them on display, lol. :D

I have seen a couple MKV GTI's running around, is there anyway to pick yours out Loccusst?

I have a United Grey with the black VW logos and red GTI logos on the car. Tinted windows......oh
and my plates say MY FAST. lol
I am always on the west side since I work at Jordan Creek Best Buy and I live in Urbandale.
