I'm looking for some help rolling my front fenders on the 20th. I don't feel completely confident that I can successfully do it on my own without damaging the paint. Does anyone have experience or know of someone who is capable of doing a professional job?

BTW, I will be in CR and QC for the weekend of Jordan & Anthony's party, and would be willing to drive a little extra to get the job done right. I'm hoping to get this done in the next month before I move out east for school.

Thanks in advance for any help :tu:

Andy (Dubtuner) I believe has a fender roller. He should be able to do the job for you and he is in Dubuque so you might be able to work out something with him while your down here Steve.

If the thing with Andy that Jordan mentioned doesn't work out the Iowa chapter bmw car club has a fender roller than I can borrow whenever I need and I can always bring it as I am planning to be at Jordan's party as well. It might be too cold though. You really need to heat the fender up first to help prevent paint damage.

I do know a guy who does fender rolling professionally. It's more of an on the side kind of job. I don't think he charges specific rates though. I think a buddy of mine said he paid him $50 or so to do the rears on his car. It's not cheap, but he has a lot of experience.

I think I found a reputable shop in the twin cities that can roll the fronts on Monday. :)

But on a sad note this will be the last mod for a while because of loans to attend UTI. :(

I was able to borrow an Eastwood roller and heat gun from Eurowerks and plan on attempting the job myself tomorrow. I figure if someone is going to fuck my fenders up I would prefer it be me and not some local shop. :D

If time was on my side I would definitely have you roll them for me though.

On the other hand, could you bring the finisher to the party? I would be more than willing to give you some cash for your help with that.

Thanks!

That would be great.

I rolled the fronts today and they came out perfect! No chips or spider cracks in the paint. So I was able to take the coils down another inch give or take and now rubbing is a non-issue.

I never thought Aristos could look so sexy, well for being Aristos lol

(I also picked up my R/A/R/R tails to match my amber markers and turns. I am one happy camper. :D)
