Youngest and wife are in Europe so I took his '99 with 207k on a short drive to a client in Mo. (620 round trip). 32 MPG down and 34 coming back on the 2 laners, 75 - 80 on 35 on way down.
BEST I have ever gotten with the W8 is 25 on the open road.
Pros of W8 - Arrive less tired, no rubber band (Turbo Lag), feels like a rear-wheel with the 4-Motion, looks from other drivers when you wind it up and they wonder what the hell kind of motor is in that?:eek:
Pro's of 1.8 - Milage!:D , No fear of rocks, debris, etc., "old" car registration.:)
