Okay, I have my choice down to three...
(1) 17x8 Audi "Pie Plates"
I already have these wheels but they are not looking so hot. I bought a set of 5 for $500 shipped...one wheel is cracked and apparently was the "spare" but according to the previous owner held air. One other wheel I put on to see if it would fit was wobbbbbbbly. The guy is being great about it and giving me all my money back but $50 (in other words, a set of wheels for $50!) So I can take the money I get back and repair/refinish them and have a set that is better than new. Here is a picture of the wheels (not the exact set I have, but you get the idea):

(2) 17x8 Audi "Fat 5's"
I found a set (finally) reasonably priced but I'm not sure if I want to go down the same road and risk getting a set of used rims that are not what they're cracked up to be. I'm trying to get the guy to be able to give a refund if they are not what he says they are, regardless of how many pictures he takes. Here's how they look on a B5.5 Passat:

(3) 17x8 Flik Hornets black w/ machined lip w/ Falken tires
I can purchase a brand new set of Hornets along with Falkens mounted and balanced for a little over $700. I think they'd look good on my car since it's black with chrome trim. Here's a pic of the wheel:
