It is possible. The thread had some links to some other ideas. To put it where the TPS and ESP buttons go would require modification to the center console area that those blanks pop into. A simple piece of ABS plastic could be used to fill in the area and the iPod holder attached to it. It is possible. My problem is I haven't really ever messed with fiberglass or body filler before. Are you wanting to keep you factory radio? If so we could just install the factory iPod adapter....or modify it to fit in this area. If you get an after market iPod adapter then we could do this....you might loose your XM or Sirius radio ability though. I was trying to figure out where to put something similar on my car...but with video capability for my flip out.

well see it would prolly be really easy for an ipod.... but i have a zune...
ive seen a guy put his ipod in those 3 unused slots, it looked awesome, he made the ipod go down pretty far so it wasnt hangin loose.
but if im gunna lose my xm then i dont want to. xm is far more valuable than my zune atm

Well they make fm modulators for the Zune...I will check when I get to work and see what we have for the Zune that will sound good and still let you keep your XM. I went back to using my XM instead of my iPod too a couple of weeks ago.

Just throwing this out there, a common complaint from those Scion owners is that the cover is very fragile and breaks often. Of course if you're gonna be fabbing up your own then you could make it a bit stronger...seems like quite the project though, should be awesome if you can pull it off :D

Check this out Jake......we could use this and still install it where you want it. The cool thing is you get to keep the stock radio and use your XM.

ARRRGGG...I tried to attach a link. Guess it didn't work....go figure. There is an adapter I found that plugs in to your factory radio and use your xm plus steering wheel controls. I will find it again..........

I believe you still need the sat pass thru also. See my links above.

Yes you would need the sat pass through. Also, it is designed for the ipod but they may have one for the Zune or you could use the audio in on the device.
