*Cancelled* Dubuque GTG April 29th

From what I see there are quite a few PKG members in the Dubuque area. I would like to set up a GTG one of these weekends so we can all meet up and match faces with cars!

If anyone has any ideas for what weekend and where we should meet up, let me know.

Sounds awesome Jeremy!! I dont' know if Paul Newman will see it but if we get a set date I will twist his nipples until he goes. I've been trying to recruit around town. I've only seen one dub the past week and I put a card in the windshield. It was an orange bug with the plates MY VDUB. I think it was a chick car so...we'll see.

Places, for pictures I think we should meet at the new 16th street boat ramp and cruise somewhere to get some grub from there. I'll bring the camera and tripod. :)

Oh, next weekend won't work because of a wedding I have and it's easter on sunday. The 14th won't work for me because I have a paintball tourney in the day and I have my son on Sunday. 21st seems to be the best weekend for me!! I could also make the 28th work if need be.

Yeah, nub, sounds good ;). The Star is still there, but you can't drive up to it anymore. It's all renovated and there is a winery that is going in the bottom floors. So it's now part of the River Walk and port of Dubuque.

I would advise against April 21st because that is the weekend of the Albert Lea, MN GTG. Several people are already planning on going up to that.

It's totally cool if you guys want to do a local GTG for the guys over there that same weekend, but to get the rest of the members out we'll have to pick another date.

An idea for our next gtg, or rescheduled gtg I should say. Maybe meet somewhere, cruise around for a while and go out to Eagle Point Park or somewhere and grill out. I have only been in Dubuque a year and that's the only park I have been too (I think) that isn't too "ghetto". I know Dubuque has a lot of nice ones though. Maybe some of you locals know of another park that would be cool to hang out and grill and take some pictures. About ready to light the grill myself, kind of put the idea in my head.:)

Wow, I'm surprised to find out this is cancelled. It's just as well, since everyone is either working or their car is out of commission. My part is coming from Deutschland and I should be up and running by Monday or Tuesday. I also have some scratches I wanted to get buffed out and who knows -- I might even have my wheels thrown on by June. =)

However, I am testing for the police academy on Saturday and if I pass I will be gone for most of the summer. So I guess it will be awhile before you see my beast! =)
