DSV Moving Day :: Friday, March 30th

On Friday, March 30th Stef and I are picking up a moving truck at 8am and are going to start loading up our apartment.

If anybody is available in the Ames area (or wants to make the quick drive up) we would sincerely appreciate it. We will start loading up around 8ish and then just keep at it until everything is in the truck. Once everything is loaded up we will be driving down to Des Moines to begin the unloading process.

I give my thanks in advance to anybody who can help us out. Also, I promise there will be a PKG BBQ sometime in the coming months at the new place. We've got a decent sized backyard and a nice two-car garage for wrenching. :D

We do have family coming up later in the evening to help, otherwise I would say people could hang out and drink all night. I will be hosting a GTG at the house sometime soon though just for that purpose. I just need to find enough parking for everybody.

What time do you think you will get to the new house to unload it? I would come to Ames to help but we are trying not to leave the new puppy unatended for very long right now. We got home after the BBQ GTG and there was poop all over the cage. Sooooo much fun. So she can be left alone for short times. Right now she is alone for about three hours at a time. Jen checks on her at lunch and then the girls take car of her when they get home....I get to make sure she poops before I go to work in the morning since I am the last one to leave....Joy to me. Anyway, nuff bout that. Call me when you get into town. Jen is off at 5pm and she will hook up with us if you still need help.

I'm going to be dismantling the desktop computer shortly but the laptop will be the last thing to get packed, so I can still check this thread until early tomorrow morning.
