Steering Angle Sensor codes

I have a code for something with my steering angle sensor.

ive read that if your car is out of alignment (which mine is alittle bit) that it could set off a code for your steering angle sensor.

now here is my dilema, should i get the car aligned and see if it fixes it, or should i buy a new steering angle sensor? i guess i should get it aligned anyways but does anyone know anything about this?

sorry for all the posts all of a sudden about fixing shit, im trying to sell the car and want to get everything fixed before i sell it to someone.

Sorry no help here, but I can tell you that even though my car has never been out of alignment , my sister's 20th was, and she never got that fault, you maybe better off getting a new one, but thats just my .02
