I have a story if someone wants to hear it.. but short version im a professional photographer and have an opportunity to buy a commercial building that not only will be the new home to my photography studio but also has 4 apartments and another rented commercial spot that generates income every month. Bank tells me best interest rate is with 20% down...

Part 2 of the story. I bought a nice rabbit shell and send it off to be painted almost 2 months ago.. today i get a call that the guy paintin' got fired and i have to get it outta the shop by sunday. So im going to pick it up and think its a sign for me to try to sell it and move on. Pics and details of that car are the 79 rabbit in my signature.

Ok to the list of parts. I just decided this afternoon after talking to my body shop guy to just start over and sell everything. So i will update with pics and actually will probably set up my website with more pics and details after this weekend.

Enough Typing - to the parts.

1979 Rabbit - shaved engine bay - sitting ready to be painted almost - $1500 - details in signature and pics of that car

1984 rabbit gti - was built 16v, i sold motor so now its at my shop awaiting motor - details in signature and pics - $1000

4k tranny w/ 3.94 final drive and pelliquin diff installed , its still running 90mm drive shafts - $1000 shipped.

ABA16v Motor - OBD1 block, fresh head - $800 picked up

Lysholm Super Charger with i think 2 pulleys - $2000

AEB Motor - Its a project motor - i have obd1 aba crank on its way, new scat forged connecting rods and some used pistons - $500

AEB Head - fresh rebuild - $900

Happich Originail Pop Out windows for A1 rabbit - used with seals - $1000 shipped

Small Metal Chrome Euro bumpers - new from rabbit parts, i havent even taken them outta the box. - $500 + shipping

1980 Jetta dash - RARE A1 Dash nice condition - i havent upwrapped it from the guy i bought it from - $300 shipped

Cabriolet dash with lower glove box and knee bars - $200 shipped (again its still wrapped up in the box from the guy i bought it from )

Recaro Trophy's front nice power seats from 88 Jetta 16v - $600 picked up. ( i might keep these )

Polished Porsche Door Handles for A1 / A2 i think - $200

Chrome Flag mirrors - $125 shipped

16v 1.8 head with Autotech Cams installed $500 shipped.

BBM Ported G60 Intake manifold

AGB Tranny w/ quaife installed - taller gears for Forced induction , 100mm drive shafts $1000 shipped

In other thread i am selling CAllaway 8v Valve Cover and Steering wheel.

10.1 Brake calipers / complete knuckles.

I would sell my 11.0 Corrado Knuckles that are on my rabbit with x-drilled rotors - $400 shipped.

WOW thats a huge list.

I will edit and add pics under or above the item as i get them up and running.. I am also selling / parting out 89 Jetta Helios 16v w/ a good 16v motor for a swap.

The blue GTi is the blue one pictured above. its for sale $1000 without wheels / seats.


I have tons of stuff , as you can see so you could buy some other stuff.

the bottom picture is the current state of the 79 rabbit gti w/ the shaved engine bay. car was media blasted and engine bay smoothed removing heater, wipers, ect. That car also have 4 wheel disc brakes.

Ok, so does the blue car come with a motor? If not how much to have the motors listed put in and to have it running?

It does not have an motor..

I have it loaded on the trailer to throw a motor in it, i have a few 16v motors.

Car will be $2500 with motor / tranny new clutch, radiator, ect..

Putting a new engine/tranny in is probably more then I want/can do right now and I cant afford the price of the reassembled car but good luck on the sale!

Guy backed out so i am installing a 2.0 16v with autotech cams, TT race downpipe and close ratio 2h tranny with new clutch..

Then it will be up for sale running and driving..

How much for the Callaway 8V valve cover? Does it have the bracket for the acc. cable and the breather fitting. I'd love to see a picture of it. Also what does the steering wheel look like? I didn't know Callaway made one.
