A/C delete on Mk3 VR6

I deleted the a/c on my mk3 gti vr6 and i need to know what size serpentine belt i need. If anyone has done this let me know asap.

I believe you need a belt fron an infinity v8 or else they sell it at mjm or i can get them here at my shop for about the same price maybe a bit cheaper

search around on the 12v forum on vortex. I have gotten them at local autozones for about 12 bucks

i was planning on keeping it before but now someone with racing intensions will buy it lol

Shae if you can't find the answer you could always take a piece of string and mock that up as a belt. Then measure the length of the string and tell the auto parts store the length and the style of the belt and they might be able to match something up for you that would be close.

Many times parts store will have an option with A/C or no A/C you can try calling and see they might have the right belt for you otherwise do what he ^^^ said and measure it with something.

I have measured for a belt before with good results

got everything back together and started it and still has the same noise.

i dont know if i did them wrong or broke them again or if its a completely different problem.

im selling the car as is no rust and plenty of new and good parts. Plus a spare hatch. all for 1500

If he doesnt have the ac stuff i have everything i just removed from my mk3 condenser is brand new as well

do have the a/c stuff and the secondary air stuff as well i'd say 1750 for everything i have here and the spare hatch and abs plastic boser hood extension and spare stock grill
