I'll probably be getting a mk5 here in the next week and wanted to see if anyone would want my car before I trade it.

Car has 130,000 miles, well maintained

5 speed manual

Sport cloth seats, great shape, no tears or fading

Lowered on vogtland springs w/ gr-2 shocks, about 1.5"

18" Privat Netz wheels, perfect shape besides 2 small rashes on front right

Tires have ~90% tread left, only used for about 4 months, falken fk452's

Neuspeed P-flo intake

Forge 007 DV

Custom 2.5" exhaust piping, HKS muffler, done by Terry's in Windsor Heights

Alpine touch screen setup with ipod and aux in, along with a blackbird nav unit w/ dock.

12" Boston G5 sub with radiator running off of a JL e1400d

JL e4300 powers all 4 boston speakers, front two being 2 way components

The bad:

Check engine light on, it's only because the exhaust doesn't meet emissions and the 2nd o2 sensor throws a code with the bad reading.

SRS light is on too because of a seatbelt sensor being bad. Apparently it's a 5 minute fix I just haven't tried anything yet.

There are scratches on the front bumper from a hit and run, but they aren't very noticeable. I painted over with touch up paint and now you have to look close to see it.

Price: $5,000 for stock (wheels will be 17" monte carlos)

$6,500 with all mods, including wheels, audio, etc.

Planning on it. I looked a rabbit and it's just ok. I love everything about the mk5 i'm looking at. It's a pkg2 as well, so it has everything except nav.

As for the monte's, I don't think I would sell them over the privat's. I'd love to hook you up, but they'll be pricy. The way I see it, I can put the monte's on and trade it for 4k, sell my privat's for at least 800-900. They told me the wheels don't make a difference. I suppose if you wanted to, I would be willing to trade for whatever wheel you have plus cash. What do you have?
