Hello all my name is Todd and I currently live in Des Moines (close to Altoona). As Usacjudge will tell you I'm an east sider. :finger:

After tearing away at the boss lady I finally got my first VW. (Thanks again Usacjudge for helping me throw wood on the fire). I'm loving everything about the car and can't wait to do some mods to it.

I have a 07 2.0T United Gray Passat (Sport Package)

Welcome Todd, and yes, no matter how much you try to convince everyone that you live "between Des Moines and Altoona" I am glad you can finally admit you live in East Des Moines :finger:

Be gentle with Todd, he has only been in the VW family for a couple months, but I think he won't be going anywhere soon :tu: Glad I could help with the car buying process, now lets get to those mods :twisted:

Oh yeah, and congrats on being member #100! When are we going to have a "PKG 100 member blowout celebration extravaganza"?

You and Jaeger convinced me to just live with the East side fact. ;)

I love the VW and wife is jealous. :D Looks like a Touareg will be in the future when we get rid of the TB in the distant future. Respect the DoD!!

I have some clear turn signals on order and should hopefully be here this week. Then I can get rid of the nasty orange on the front of the car. As soon as I get them installed Ill post a pic.

As far as other things they are pretty minor for the time being.

Performance stuff will come in a year or so, I have to save up for the family the wife and I want.

You will like the blue mirrors. I have them on my MKV GTI. When it comes to performance we share many of the same mods. So if you have questions SML, Gee Tea Eye, and I can help you. Welcome to the family!!

looks good man! my mom has one and when im home i drive it so i like them. for some reason it seems to have a deeper growl than my car yet same engine... lol anyway congrats and welcome to pkg!

Sweetness if you can that would rock! I like ebay and all but I was burnt once so I think that gave a bad taste in my mouth.

I would only buy from eBay if I knew it was a quality product being sold my a reputable business or something used being sold by a specific person.

All of the knockoff crap out there just sucks. :td:

brian@avalon -- you should know those m3 style lips on eBay for B5ers is practically a 10/10 fitment, they've been praised over at the zine time and time again.

brian...you are going to hate me....but for all the B5'ers...this one was praised sooo many times over...it comes paint matched to the audi color...and its cheap!

I prefer direct from a store...especially one with Paypal. But, if the price is right and the product is from someone respectable on Ebay I am all over it.

I love putting the Tiptronic on in a parking lot just so I can leave it in a lower gear to hear the growl :cool:
