March Dubuque GTG - Party - coffee - cruise - photos - burgers

For March we're gonna kinda have a two day GTG going on. Saturday night and most the day Sunday, but the real actual GTG is a photoshoot, cruise, GTG on Sunday.

Saturday night we will be having a party at Andy's (DubTuner) house and have a few beers and havin a good time. Probably do some dinner around 7 or 8 and then head over there, that's really up to Andy.

Sunday morning after Andy's house, anyone who wants to go with me to get coffee at Aroma's Coffee Bar (amazing orgasmic coffee) when we finally wake up can, then we might hit up Perkins for some breakfast if we wake up early enough. We might just hang around or do whatever until it's time to meet up for the actual GTG.

Sunday at 3:00 PM we will be meeting in the Wal-Mart parking (same spot as the last big GTG in the fall). From there we will go on the same route as the last GTG. This should be fun and last time we had a ton of cars and had lots of fun while still getting a shit ton of sweet pictures.

After the cruise we will be going to grab some burgers from the Mining Company at the mall here in town. Charburgers mmmm :hungry: beer burgers and wings.

In between the cruise and food we will be snapping some photos as well as some along the route so bring your cameras :tu:!

Hopefully this time there will be a lot less snow and be a lot warmer. Hope to see you all there. When the GTG gets closer I will post up directions to get to Wal-Mart and if anyone who wants to come to the party isn't sure where/how to meet up PM me and I will discuss a place to meet up with you.


Here is a map of the route we'll be taking, subject to change of course. I'll be checking the route regularly to play around with it/make sure that it's all set to go.

We can change from Kalmles' Hilltop to The Mining Company, West Dubuque Tap would be difficult to have a large group of people at and parking is hard to have a lot of cars at too, but since MC is at the mall...maybe we should do it there.

Well, I bought them off of tirerack.com. They are 18" Sport Tuning "Propeller" wheels. They are a brand made by OZ. From what I understand OZ is made/owned by Konig? They're a pretty solid wheel but yet they are lite too. The only thing I really care about it is that they look INCREDIBLE on my car! You'll get to see em at the GTG if you come. I've gotten a few compliments on them and its always nice to get compliments on your car when you work on it yourself. (I mounted the tires myself, not an easy task. Especially when you have what my dad calls "Rubberbands for tires").

Well I did a pre-run of the road from sageville to millville. On the VFR at that. It was soooo nice. No cars at all. We should have done the GTG yesterday. Hopefully the traffic is the same next sunday. I was a bit tired by the time I got there though. Took the long way and did about 100 miles before I got to the road. Ended up with 270 or so on the day. Good ride though.

The far back lot where the road divides Lowe's and Wal-Mart. Where it's usually open. I'm sure a few of us will get there early so you don't have to scour. :)
