The Good:
-Working cruise control and A/C is a plus. All power options work.
-Engine runs very strong and is healthy.
-Hardly any door dings, dents, scratches. Paint looks beautiful.
-Perfect car for a swap or a Ka-t build.
-Very clean interior that is complete and all in tact.
-Trunk is clean. Jack, tools, and spare tire are also included and original. No rust in spare tire well.
-The car handles very well for its age.
-Brakes are in good shape.
-No leaks, or burning of any fluids.
-No overheating issues.
-Purchased from Hummel's Nissan in Des Moines, IA.

The Bad:
-The car has some minor rust along the quarter panel on the driver side. It is bubbling through the paint
but does not go towards the rocker panel. Frame rails are in tact and in pretty good shape.
-Passenger side is very clear and clean.

The Sport Compact Car Castrol Syntec Engine challenge was won by AMS this year. They build a stacked ass 4g63. The goal was to make the most hp/liter and there were deductions for using spray/boost.

Other competitors were: SR20det, VG30DE, SBC...

All engines were built by cosworth, ams, and the rest of the goody companies.

Show them up with an even better 4g.

i paid about what your asking for a VERY clean, 70 thousand mile Porsche 924s and only $1,500 for a clean rust free 1980 320i with about 100k.

If i were you, i would start the bidding at $2,000...

Price is obo with a little bit of room to play. KBB is not always right, and you guys should know that by now. These things sell anywhere from $3000-$5000 depending on the condition all over the states regardless of what popular online pricing sites report.

i agree with you that online pricing is not perfect, but i just don't see a lot of demand for a 240 in that price/condition range around here, but i have been wrong before. i think you have two target markets; high school kids and the ls1 hybrid community. have you tried your luck on ebay??? both your costumers spend a lot of time there.

I haven't really been big into doing the whole eBay process. What is the eBay fee for selling a car? If I don't get what I want, can I relist it? Is there a relisting fee?

I'm really trying to trade it at this point but lord knows how well that is going.

ive never listed a car on ebay but i think they recently made a change so that you only have to pay if the car sells, not for actually listing it. if you go in the ebay motors site, they have a tutorial for listing cars. i took a gander over there earlier today and your correct, those cars do seem to sell over book. i just dont see it happening around here unfortunately.

i understand that you want a european and/or awd car, but have you thought about just doing an lsx swap on this car instead? you already own it, its pretty clean overall, and would make a heck of a sleeper.

I agree about the LsX swap. unfortunately, I am looking for a daily driver car. I am a junior at the U of Iowa and have no money to have a car down waiting for an engine swap. It is just not going to work for me to have the big project when reliability is key.

I am looking for an E36 3 series to just drive. Looking for a nicer car to have for a daily instead of a "high schoolish" drift mobile!

I will consider eBay if/when I can line up the next car that I want.
