Leaving Sept. 25th, back in IA Sept. 30th.

Making this official to get interest on the site. H2o is one of the biggest east coast shows. The weekend of the show, Ocean City's population grows from 8,000 to 20,000. There will be over 1,000 show cars, lots of vendors, fun and partying.

Abby and I are going (she claimed shotgun) and have been planning on going for almost a year. Seriously can't wait... first show my car will be in!

Longball Rally

This is a big midwest rally that included ET magazine last year (not this year though) It starts in Chi town, we'll meet up with 50-100 euros and cruise down in a huge pack, stoppign in Pittsburg to get some rest. Can you say ROLLING SHOTZZZ :rockon:

(Long Ball Rally is not official like the past 2 years because the main guy can't go. I can't help but think it's still happening, nobody's stepped up the the plate.

Lodging

We are basically taking over the campground 10 minutes from the show grounds and for $30/night you can reserve one that will fit 2 tents. I'm sharing a campground with a guy that only has his one tent and the sites allow 2 so you can split the cost with someone and save a little.

Depending on where you live, his is a 1000 mile drive each way. It's roughly 1,065 miles from CR.. If I get 25 mpg I calculated gas will cost about $360 round trip.

yea actually I think i'll be coming back to iowa like sep 22 to put some stuff on my car. so i'll probably roll to chicago with whoever from pkg is going there than head up to pitts with the long ball ralley and stay there or stay at my apt 40min away. I plan on moving to CR when I get out of wyotech so it should be all good.

lol...yeah yesterdays was pretty scary...I wish I can but I work like 15hr/day!

oh I wish I could. Ive taken too much time off of wotk this year with plans still ahead. Maybe next year. I plan on making it a summer of car events. Since all my time this year is 80% family events.

what is the long ball rally? How long was the drive? My daughters b-day is monday the 28th she turns 5... so i probably need to try my best to get back here for her b-day mid-afternoon.
