Midwest Treffen '08, August 17-18th

Let's wait until we get more people signed up, which I'm sure a lot more are up for Treffen. There were quite a few people that went last year (maybe a dozen+)? I didn't go last year, so I can't remember exactly. :)

As for us Dubuque people, to my knowledge it's about 4 hours to chicago from Dubz so I say we drive down to QC meet up with them and caravan down to a hotel/etc. from Dubuque with them, as Jordan informs me it's only 3 hours from QC to Chicago...correct me if I'm wrong Jeremy I know you know Dub. to chicago better than I do.

Midwest Treffen is here again for '08!

A bunch of PKG'ers went to this event last year and it was a blast.

Treffen 2008 – August 16 & 17
Saturday, August 16 AM - Autocross (Oakton Community College – Des Plaines, IL)
Saturday, August 16 PM - Drags (Great Lakes Dragaway – Union Grove, WI)
Sunday, August 17 - Car Show (Oakton Community College -Des Plaines, IL)

Last year, we all got a couple hotel rooms and all crashed in them on Sat night.

Yeah, Jordan is right. I get from here to Downer's Grove ('burb) in 3hr. 15min. or so. We could do faster than that (~3 hours as Jordan told you) since trucks can only do 55. Or can they? http://www.passatworld.com/smilies/whistle.gif
