so the Milltek TB is only $1139, where as the downpipe is $659. my theory on this is whynot just get the TB. this way i can get the stage 2 revo!

That would be one of them I was considering. That also seems to be the going price for it too. Comes with a 200 cell cat and 2.75" pipeing which should deal with the cel coming on issue that the 3" has.

It sounds sooo nice too.
it does sound good... i ehard it in person at waterfest12, very little droan as well. but i like the sound of the TT and AWE a little better. and now maybe the eurojet as well. to be honest it will be the hardest decision for me on what frakin exhaust to get, ill prolly mix match

your parts are ****ing overpriced the dinan drive by wire throttlebody for my BMW was only $600...how big is the TB on these cars? how much larger is the milltek one?

Center exit would be nice...as would a electric dump pipe. But that's just dreaming. I am probably going to get the down pipe from milltek and then get the catback from AWE....not sure. I like both of them but......this sucks trying to figure this crap out.

i would actually really like to do a center exit, but id have to buy the rear valence first and i dont have that much money yet even tho the catback its self would be cheaper

The rear bumper area is easy enough. The MKV bumper comes in two parts..an upper and a lower section. The problem is that the rear liscence plate area on the bumper is right in the middle where the two parts meet. So that means if you get a lower part it has to be for NA GTI or you will have a weird plate area. As for the exhaust, I don't know how to weld. We would need someone with a skills cause there are some strange bends under there if you wanted to replace the pipes. If you want to just get rid of the muffler then the it would be easy to just attach a dual outlet tip and have it come out of the back. The factory exhaust attaches to the muffler right in the center at the front of the muffler.

id like to get a borla muffler...... :D
and u can buy na spec r32 rear aprons now, of course id have it color matched but i dunno if itl look good with side skirts....

I think the 06 Euro spec R32 side skirts were just our skirts painted. I think the 06 R32 rear bumper also had the reflectors in it towards the bottom.

:banghead i dont want stoopid reflectors, and i want reiger side skirts
paint the reflecters, then shave the side skirts to be just a hair shorter? or they may look fine.

I think the 05-06 R32 rear bumper is differant than the 08 NA bumper....not sure.

Checked and nope...they are the same. You can get the upper and lower Euro R32 bumper from OEMpl.us for $595.

//edit: 600 not to shabby

Well, you would have to delete the rear muffler, weld in a straight peice of pipe and "y" it out with two 3" tips. Plus paint it.

i would still have a muffler somewhere right? like i would pass some emissions testing just incase i need to pass in pa again. plus i wanna be a little environ friendly

02-13-2007, 12:21 AM
Well you would have the resonator....or you could get a small 5" muffler like most of the kits use and put it where the resonator sits.

i dunno then, id like to have somethin

you dont need a muffler to pass emissions as long as you have a cat you are fine as for putting in a y to do dual tips you just buy them that way exaust tips are a dime a dozen
Gee Tea Eye V
02-13-2007, 11:42 AM
well we would have to measure the size of the dual tips since the mk5 r32 rear bumper is dual center exiter but yet spread out
