so what to do for horse and torque?

im really not wanting to spend 1100 on exhaust.

So don't. Get a downpipe...that is the most restrictive part of the exhaust on the MKV. There is a cat right where the Downpipe connects to the turbo....right at a tight 90 degree bend. You can also get the discharge and throttle pipes I got. They free up the turbo...eliminating the tight bends and non smoothness of the factory pipes. I did those pipes to my car and noticed a large improvement in both throttle response and smoother torque.

Here is a pic of the underside.

And our lovely down pipe.

When I deleted the resonator it wasn't really that restrictive...it just blocked out the beautiful sound of my car. The suitcase muffler is somewhat restrictive but as you can see the down pipe is the worst. I would of just put the pics in but I suck at that stuff.

a custom center exit exhaust would drop at least 16 inches of pipe off

Loccusst

That it would and look very sexy! I am shooting for the R32 look when it comes to the rear. The problem is that most aftermarket exhaust setups that mimic the R32 are all 3". Thus the question about the cell issue and 3" pipes.

i would love a center exit exhaust that would be fuckin sick, id even buy the r32 rear to fit it. that would be baller id pay for that if it sounded good

Stage 1 unless you wanna start upgrading your fuel as well.

Does GIAC make a chip for your car? If so, GIAC's been proven time and time again and my vote goes there.

they do and i am pretty sure dubwerks in chicago deals em.

my vote goes to revo because im told its the most aggressive stage 1

and untill u get a full perf exhaust ull prolly wanna stick to stage one. for revo stage 2 just incorporates other aspects to work better together like ur exhaust and intake

Do the exhaust first and then get the chip. I am leaning towards AWE or Milltek myself.

Is that with the resonator? I couldn't tell in the vid if that was what it sounds like with the resonator or without. They show on their web site you can order it either way....or so it seems. I would go without the resonator I think....since my car already has it removed wouldn't make much sence to put one back on.

sml

that was without

lol - wasnt that up with the intake, exhaust.....

chip is the easiest thing to hide!

Loccusst

Actually the intake and exhaust are not going to void the warranty...only for the oem parts that are removed. They have to prove that the part you put on your car is the reason for the problem with the car. If your tranny goes out or your fuel system starts going crazy, then it is kinda hard to say that it was the intake or exhaust. Now if you put a LSD in the tranny then it is a good bet that your tranny warranty is done. Chipping a car pretty much voids the warranty on the motor unless it is something not at all associated with the performance chip....known tsb or like ac compressor/alternator failure. So far Jordan has not said a single thing about any of my aftermarket stuff accept my stereo components. That all became mute point when I discussed my MECP certification with them.
