I'm not up on my Bimmers but this one is too sexy not to share. I don't know the year or mileage, but it's got that notorious third pedal everyone around here covets. ;)

I remember when I was in high school/early college, the 540i was my dream car. I'd still love to own one, as it is probably my favorite BMW. :tu:

Hahaha that's my bosses friends car he's selling (I work at great sounds in the background). I asked if he wanted me to list the car on here and he said dont bother but I can get the year/mileage on it if you want me to.

i'd love to have a 540 6 spd -- i'd hafta sell my B5 first before i did anything though

looks like its a '97 with those wheels

i'd be curious to see how much he is askin for it

The more I look at the E39 the more boring it gets to me...I used to absolutely love them too.

Bah, that car is never boring to me. I'd love to have that car. It's still my favorite Bimmer. Favorite affordable Bimmer, that is... :laugh:

I wanna say it's around 10k for it and they think it's supercharged as well. It has a JL audio system in it as well that comes with it.

if i had an e39 i'd have to have M bumpers on it asap they just look too good not to :tu:

to each their own i guess.

If i had the 540i i would keep it looking the same except drop it a little, and update the interior to be the euro dash and updated navigation system.

How do they "think" it has a supercharger. It either has one or it doesnt and thats not really something you put in and forget about. Unless they think it came stock with one, in which case they are wrong, its N/A.

Your putting M bumpers on your car. Most of the time I do get sick of everyone and their brother putting M bumpers and mirrors on but they look too good on that car not to. I think the non-M E39s look too flat without the M bumpers.
