another brake question guys...anyone know if the wear sensor on the brake pads on the 2000 Audi s4 are detachable or replaceable seperately. the reason i ask is that i was looking at getting pads off ebay and see on some of them that it says it doesn't include the sensors. do you just swap them over to the new pads when you replace them or do you have to get the pads w/ them attached?
also, has anyone ordered rotors off ebay and good results? if so, what is the name of the seller?
thanks!

yes they do if you buy them from the factory...i posted a similar thread on audiworld.com. check it out...some useful information in case you want to elimate that annoying brake pad warning that comes on when there's still 50% of the pad left.

I'm quite aware of the procedure on eliminating the brake pad wear sensor circuit.
I was just answering your original post.
Thanks ;)

Theres gotta be 10 different ways to eliminate the pad sensor wear light. Paperclip, solder, butt connector, etc.....
I've seen someone that sells the pad sensors individually (don't remember where) but why the hell would you even want them?

maybe you were braking to hard. Mintex are the pads that most porsche, BMW and Audi guys use and recommend. I ran them in my car on the track and street and had no issues. I have pagid on now with good results as well..
