yeah dude i think ive had it for 48 hours and ive played for close to 20 hours. i got it 6pm the day it came out and played from then till my 6am hockey practice. then today i played from 9 ish till 1230 and a little bit inbetween stuff durring the day i love the multiplayer its crazy.

You should definately own the intercooler that attaches to the 360. It helps with graphics...they actually slow down due to heat. I have one and no issues with overheating at all. I decided to "check" out the game last night for a bit around midnight before going to bed. I ended up going to bed at about 2:20 am. LOL

So again I was up late playing the damn game. It is a loooong game I think. Which is good.....don't get me wrong. My wife actually asked me if I was going to play it last night because she likes to fall asleep to me playing. So I got on and played from 11pm to about 3am last night. Got past the third act last night.

yeah me and my friend co opted it up and beat it today on hardcore and we are working on insane now. its actually not that long of a game, but it is a tight game!

I heard that if you beat the game on insane it unlocks all of the achievments for all the levels under that.

its the same thing as hardcore, if u beat it on hardcore u get credit for doing everything on casual too

We discovered a glitch last night in the game. You can get stuck when chainsawing someone by the front door of the mansion stage. If you are off to the side about 6 feet to the left of the front door and saw someone....you can't move afterwards. This only happens if you don't saw them head on. I was the first one to have this happen to last night. Stood there like a damn statue till the last guy on the other team came along and killed me. I was like, if I close my eyes he wont see me. Sucked.....

yeah i had that happen a little while ago. theres more than one spot that it happens ive seen it on at least 3 different maps. its pretty shitty

Cooll thing is with this being on the 360 you know they will atleast have a downloadable fix down the line. It could be worse. You could of just bought a PS3...had it freeze up four times, like the one we have on display at work, and find out that all of the PS2 games you own are the ones in the over 200+ titles that are not backwards compatable. I love my 360.

oh i am god of gears of war, im starting to own with the pistol, people rush me with shot gun and i shoot them bitches down with the pistol. i always forget i have shotgun too now. its like i got frags, pistol and assualt rifle. like halo1 days lol

lol - good hijack. that six shooter pistol is the shit.

the magnum pistol is nice but it doesnt shoot fast so i never use it, but if u have another guy with the assualt rifle and u with the magnum then it works really nice and takes them down quick. but then why not just use two assualt rifles??

i was thinkin the new rainbow six game. i love the stratedgy in gears of war, but id like a little more team play and a little more realism. i mean like i unload an assualt rifle clip on someone and they barely go down! lamesauce. i love battlefield games and games were u are a designated medic/assualt/etc charater, i wish it was like that on a smaller scale for some games because battlefield gets too big for tactical work most of the time

I don't get how you guys play FPS games with a controller. If it's a shooting game I need my mouse and keyboard :p I'm a Tribes/CounterStrike guy for the most part.. I have to have the mouse inverted too.

i rarely play ranked games so my kills never count because i dont like ranked games for some reason. anyway a tourny would be awesome and iowaboostin i know what u mean, i never liked to play fps on console until halo, now id still rather play on the comp. and tribes! i loved tribes 2 one of my fav games ever i was in a decent clan in that game that i forget the name of but i loved playin there. other of my fav comp games are soldier of fortune 2, battlefield 2, and counter strike. love keyboard and mouse

I loved Black on ps2.. though that really proved that I sucked at fps's with controllers.

Tribes original is best! My clan was pretty damn good.. I was #7 on the ladder for some time for laser rifle :)

in tribes 2 i was always that bastard with the assassin gun that killed in 1 shot from the back, i would assassinate all kinds of u crazy snipers but i was most infamous for the vehicle trick where someone would be ordering a vehicle and i would shoot them in the back and run away where no one could find me and if i missed i would just hijack the vehicle, best where the bombers cause theyd be drivin off and id be bombing all the peeps on the vehicle pad haha

I've been playin Starsiege:Tribes (original) since it came out in '97 or '98.. still have the original booklet it came with :p

Tribes2 got hyped up a lot, got me mad 'cause it was so buggy at first. Played the T3 demo and liked it but never felt the need to go buy it.. T1 all the way!
