First ticket for tint...

Well, for Christmas my GF went and had my windows tinted to 15%(found out its 13%). Anyway, she drives an 04 Chrysler Crossfire(we call it the Crotchfire) which has rear wheel drive AND is sporting Michelin Pilots, the sport tires. Not all weathers. So being the nice guy i am, i let her take my car in this shitty slick stuff. One day she came up to work for lunch and decided to go up the street and grab a bite to eat. about 45 minutes later she calls me and tells me to look out the back door. Sure enough, the flashing blue and reds are right behind her writing her a $69 ticket for front windows being tinted at 13% when they are supposed to be 70% max. So I didnt get the ticket:tu: and i did find out the true % on my tint!!:tu: She got the ticket:td: but im going to pay for it:mad: So Fuck da police!:finger: Looks a HELL of alot better with the tint. pics soon.

Go To The Doter/eye Docter And Tell Him You You Get Migranes From The Sun Light Specially In Winter With The Snow . He Can Poss Give You A Medical Reason For Haveing It. At Leastt To Take To Court. Worked For A Kid In High School Who's Dad Was A Lawyer.
Got 112 Tickets In A Year. Finally Countered With Harassment And The Letter From The Doc. And Won.

Go To The Doter/eye Docter And Tell Him You You Get Migranes From The Sun Light Specially In Winter With The Snow . He Can Poss Give You A Medical Reason For Haveing It. At Leastt To Take To Court. Worked For A Kid In High School Who's Dad Was A Lawyer.

I have one of those window tint exemption forms. You actually pick up the form from the DMV then take it to your eye doctor to have him sign it. It only allows you to have up to 35% tint though. I had 20% on my old '90 Cougar, got pulled over for it, showed the guy the form and he said "sorry, that only allows you to go to 35%". I told him I didn't realize it and he left me off with a warning :cool: Since then I have only gotten 35% on my cars and have never gotten pulled over for it. They must know I have the card and have "legal" tint :rolleyes:

Hendo's car looks sick. I am sorta jelouse that my tint isn't as dark as his. But my car is grey and wouldn't look as good with black windows. When our cars sit next to each other you can soooo tell the dif.

I was gonna do 30-35% tint all around. If I can get the exemption form signed then I'd do 35% and hope the pigs pulled me over, I'd shove that form in their faces :D

I got a ticket in the summer for my 35% by State Patrol but my ticket was only $49.50. Wonder what the difference is? Did they raise it or is it by county?

Either way it's $50 out've your pocket when you could just make up a story to your doctor and get a paper signed :p

In the year 3000, everything will be instant. But the DMV will still take like 9 f**kin' seconds. 9 SECONDS? COME ON!!! I GOTTA BE AT WORK IN 3 SECONDS!!!

you may be able to look into this the meter only reads the outer 1/4" of window so if you start the tint in 1/4" from the edge the shouldn't be able to ticket you for it.

Tinting 1/4" from the edge of the window would look like crap.. the weather stripping might cover that space when rolled up but if it were only halfway down that'd bug the heck outta me.

my last ticket was only $35 for tint....musta went up since then otherwise they charge by percentage.

oh well, i'm still gonna tint my windows on my passat this summer, i dont care. my sunvisors dont offer any protection at all from the side, and thast a pain on long tips, esp when i dont have my contacts in and cant wear my sunglasses :mad:

i'll hafta get my eye doctor to sign that form for sure!
