Alright guys i wanna know whats going on with my rear passenger rotor. ITs glowing red when im driving. I think its my parking break that is not releasing on that side, but not quite sure.
um def caused by friction! Dont Drive! the rotor will be toast in no time!

Jack the car up, take the wheel off and spin the wheel. Listen for sounds like grinding and for ease of spin. Then check the parking brake cable and any return springs on the brake itself. If you can't fix it yourself then get to a brake shop now! Disconect the cable at the brake, if you can, so you can drive it there.

you have a caliper that is hung up may need a new caliper if you cant ge it loosened

could be as simple as your hardware too though...the winter wetness can reak havoc on shitty hardware. take off caliper and rotor..
check hardware for any buildup or rust, clean with strong wire brush until shiney again
then try to compress caliper piston, put everything back together and spin wheel, if any noise still comes out you could have a faulty caliper...but id def sheck your hardware first...cheaper than a new caliper and may solve your problem.

Well its drivable within ames i think. I might take it to midas. I found a set of Porsche Boxster calipers and i thinking about redoing the whole brake system. Need to find a diff set of rears. BTW i got a police escort home last nite. "she" saw me on the road with my hazards and asked if i needed someone to follow me just in case something happened.

probably wont happen until after the GTG grrr. Well since im doing brakes anyways, should i might as well do my suspension since i have it laying around? i might need some help here. Never done neither of these. Im also waiting for some Porsche Boxster calipers and some new rotors. Im going Big Brake Kit. Anyone have S4 rear brakes? :)

I would do it all together. That is what I am doing. Building up the suspension mods to do them all at the same time as I can afford them. But you need to get the problem fixed atleast.

hahah ive concluded that Midas doesnt know S$%@. i think they took my car for a joy ride and brought it back to tell me that i need to replace my rotors, calipers, and pads, even though my pads have plenty of life in them. Anyways, i think ive concluded that its my Ebrake lines and that im just going to leave my car in gear when i park. So looks like the B6 will make it to GTG, kinda dirty though.

Brakes are generally a DIYer....generally. Glad to see you are going.
