DUB CENTER 2008 Track day hastings NE

So the track day is on Friday and the show is on Sunday, what are people gonna do on Saturday? Don't get me wrong, I would love to get on the Hastings track (the more different tracks I get to the better) but for a show of this size it seems like $180 is quite a bit for a track day. And to have to take at least one full day off work I'm not sure it makes sense for me to do so. And a full day on the track gets tiring and I would be careful that people don't start getting into trouble at the end of the day. I have done a full track day before, and even with breaks (including lunch) by about 3 I could tell I was getting less safe being on the track, so I left and went home. You might get more interest if you cut the day in half and let people run half days for half that price.

understandable but erik is putting it on and i think the morning or first half of the day is training for all the people who haven't had training yet, so that way we can all go up to MAM next year and have all had training, and as far as Saturday goes theres the Omaha vw club show up there, if anyone was interested in that, i know that we might not get along with them but hey a show is a show, and i had fun last year. also Sunday during and after dub center there will be an autoX in Lincoln! its kinda like a VWaudi GTG weekend! i think it was on Friday for the guys coming from Colorado, so they can just stop on there way! im going, so who ever joins me joins me it should be fun. if we can get 30 ppl otherwise its a no go.

the omaha vw show is a good show on saturday. there might be racing sat nite at MAM
