Cross-posting this for a friend. Great guy, really takes care of his car, he has to sell the car because he is shipping off to the Navy and it makes no sense to be making payments on a car that he won;t be enjoying while in the military.

Ok guys, I know some will call me crazy and some will call me dumb but i sat down and did the math with my parents and factored what its going to cost me to keep this car and what im going to make in the military and its come out that its worth taking a lose on it now and getting out from under my debt on the car so that i can save, enjoy, and have money while in the Navy.

Please no flames on the car, if you have an opinion on this please pm me!

Looking to move this quickly. Compared to what others are asking
for a few '06s I have found on cars.com, autotrader and craiglist, you are getting a very fair price!

PLEASE if you have anyone that might be interested have them contact me. Feel free to call me or PM, whichever you feel comfortable with.

Would like to thank Mike(fotograf) for posting this here.

I am the owner of the car. It is located in Littleton, CO a suburb of Denver, CO.

If there are any more pictures you guys would like I can take them or any more information please let me know! It sucks to let her go but it really is the best for me going into the Navy.

Since it is in Colorado we can work out how you want to recieve it (fly in, drive in, shipping it) I do work for a car dealership and can have shipping arranged but it is not cheap. This is my personal car and not a dealership car.

Thanks for the kind words and your help.

James

Also, at the moment not looking to part anything out since it is still financed. I have a lot of original parts but due to the time frame and hassle I'd rather let it go as is.

I do want to make payments but being in the military you don't make you can in the civilian world, especially the car business. ;) :D

I just weighed my options, for atleast 5-6 months i can't drive the car due to boot camp and my A-school. From there my c-school can be anywhere from 2 weeks to another 1 year of school. It all depends on my rate(job) and specifically what i am doing with it.

The whole time i have to make payments on it and insurance as well. When basic pay is about $1200 after taxes (for an E-3), i don't want a majority going to a car that honestly i won't need to drive everyday. At each school, which is on a base i can just walk around the base.

Don't get me wrong, i love love LOVE the car but it makes more sense to cut my losses and if i need a car just get some beater. That way down the road i can get the nice car and house i want. :D

Well sorry to hear that you have to let it go. I would take care of it for ya but unless you want to trade straight up for a automatic 96 318ti theres nothing I can do. Good luck with the sale, I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it.
