the bend is not bad, like i said the tire holds air and has been hold for like a year

Hey, not telling you how to mod your car but 17s are way too big for a E21. 16s would be the absolute maximum that Id go on it. BTW Alpinas FTW....

That's just the width and diameter. He's looking for offset, as in how far the "part you bolt onto the car" is from the center of the wheel.

Yeah, 17's are too big, but they'd be sweet. Alpinas would be ftmfw though. Someday I'm thinking I'll cut up the fenders and go fiberglass track car (sort of a toned down group 5 look), and then 17's would be fine, just can't go any bigger than 7 wide.

No...look for 'ET' by a number; this will be your offset.

Example: This Avus wheel has a 45mm offset.
