up for sale a 93 passat glx 5 speed vr6 wagon. 175k miles on it timing chains are quiet as could be runs great. I used to own this car then sold it a few years ago and now have it back again cause the owner didnt want to pay the $800+ dollars some shop quoted him to put a clutch master cylinder in it---rip off. Anyhow i put new clutch master in and a very low miles slave cylinder clutch works perfect now. Will need brakes soon, rear shocks(i should have some good used ones for the new owner) and some better tires for winter but overall great car. Moonroof does not work--surprising! Some rust on the hatch but otherwise clean, tan leather heated seats. Starter rebuilt last fall. price is 700 cash. Located in dubuque
Also has new valve cover gasket, thermostat, tstat housing, and plastic around it. No leaks.

perfect winter car plus you can haul a ton of stuff in the back. brakes are cheap and that is all it really needs.

If it didn't matter [to me] I wouldn't be asking the question. :beerglass:

I think I'm going to throw my Fat 5's on eBay so I can snatch this up...to give the W8 a break in the winters (and whenever else...)
I'm definitely interested. :tu:

Stop and think, Jeremy. For $700 you can get a shotgun and show W8 who's the boss. :D

We pay more for some wrecked, non running cars, sight unseen. I'm just saying for $700 just don't expect a real gem with no problems, thats all.

Hmmm, never seen a old passat wagon. Thats pretty cool, if I were a richer man who could throw money away on cool cars Id buy it.
