This is a huge long-shot, but I figured I'd at least post it and see if there was any interest.
I've got a fixed-week timeshare that Kara and I just don't have the time to use. We'd love to take a week off and shoot out to Orlando every year, but with our schedules, it just isn't possible. So, that being said, I figured I'd at least throw the idea out there and see if any of you fellow PKG'rs with kids and/or Disney fans might be interested.
It's at The Oaks at Resort World, which as I remember it, is about 10 minutes from the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, etc. It's a fairly central location, and they take good care of the place. Check out http://www.celebrityresorts.com for more information.
The week is a good one, too. It's Week 11 (and it's a deeded property - it's yours forever), which typically encompasses St. Patrick's Day, some college spring breaks, and potentially for some of you - your kids' Spring Break. Since we weren't able to use it this year, I was able to bank our week this year, so if you did buy it, you'd be able to potentially swing two vacations.
I'm not sure what to ask for it, so I'll state that if you're interested, contact me and make me an offer. And strange as it sounds, I would entertain the idea of cash + trades. I'm a reasonable guy, and I am serious about getting it into the hands of someone who'll be able to use it. If we were to talk about trades, I'd be interested in a winter car so I don't have to drive the GLI everywhere, a Wii+cash, digital camera gear, etc. I'll consider just about anything for it.
So...if you're interested, send me a note and let's talk. Please, no lowballs, and serious offers only. Should it be a cash profit, the money from the sale will be banked to get a step or two closer to an international adoption.
