MKV Jetta Sidemarker Replacement [Archive]

Here is how you can remove the sidemarkers to change to clear/smoke or just change the bulb.

First push on front of the sidmarker like so

It will then pop out

Pull it the rest of the way out and remove the wire from the back where the bulb sits.

Now reverse to put it all back together and stand back and drink a beer.

i did it with colormatched sides, great mod makes a big difference and looks great :tu:

Why are VW front sidemarkers so much easier to change than Audi markers? I remember about 5-6 all starring at Jeff's A4 for at least a half hour trying to get those markers out...

I went smoked on my GTI...I remember doing it. I was thinking I was going to break something but they are just in realllll good. Nice write up!
