Just a reminder, next Saturday we are having our GTG with PKG & GOVAG! We're going to Des Moines since PKG is spread out throughout Iowa, Minnesota, etc. We will have a much better turn out from PKG's side if it's in Des Moines, and it's only 2 hours away from Omaha. The exact place is being figured out on PKG's end, probably around west Des Moines (possibly Jordan Creek area).

As far as heading out from Omaha, I'm thinking 10 am. We should probably meet near I-80. I'm thinking the Burger King on the west side of 72nd and Grover (they have a decent size lot to meet in). I have 4 radios to keep everyone close together (shouldn't be too hard since it's interstate most of the way). Of course, the video camera is coming, too. I'm thinking we should be in Des Moines around 12:30 or so.

So what does everyone think? Any other ideas anyone want to add? Any thing you guys want to do while we're all together? Where exactly do you guys think we should meet? The reason I think of Jordan Creek is that the mall would have a variety of food, things to do, and lots of space. Plus a lot of people there to see the cars ;) Is there a good place there where there won't be a million cars to fight for space? The exact spot is up to you guys!

who all is coming? That might depend on the local. Also, something simple as a bar/grill might be a good place to meet up. We could always meet up at someplace like that. It is supposed to be cold out but not freezing....that's also in the projected long term forcast. Do we want to meet downtown somewhere or at a park....like waterworks? IF the meet is at Jordan Creek then we should probably meet on the side where Scheels is....the problem with meeting at the mall is, well it's a mall and on a Saturday. So we will want to park out a bit from the mall. The other side of the mall will be busy and packed because that is where the theater is. So my suggestion is to park a bit out on the side of Scheels. Now we may also have issues from the security guards if the gathering is too huge.

hmmmm......most of them are tied into the mall area. Anyone else got some ideas? There is a place called the Game over here in Urbandale right behind the McDonald's on 86th. It is smoke free with plenty of T.V.'s and a couple of pool tables. Nice place. It is off of Douglas.

That would be my TT. Its kind of the shop's ongoing project as well :-). Right now we got her ~300hp and hopefully by spring or summer it will be over 400hp. I normally have a set of 19's that is rolls on but I had to switch to my winter set-up early this year. I will try to upload some of the cool pics that we have taken in the past.

It was my first appearance at GTG... I was hoping for more people to show up but it was great to get out there all the same and finally start meeting some people.. had a fun time and not even the COLD wind stopped PKG!... I went to work later that night to find out it was warmer at night then it had been all day... weird Iowan weather :) gotta love it.... Hope to see you all again next time and I will have more mods done by then... Take care people!
