Hey guys -

This is the LAST autocross event for the Iowa Region SCCA in Waterloo at the Greyhound Park. This is always a GREAT time - very relaxed and laid back so don't worry if you've never done it! I will be there for sure and I know several others will also. It is well worth the cruise up from IC/DSM/etc. Also it doesn't matter if your car is stock... a friend of mine ran a Geo Metro for several weeks ;) They have helmets available and the course is usually fun and relatively easy!

Join me on Sunday! It will be a blast and its a great way to learn the limits of your car and have fun doing it in a safe environment ;)

Don't think the wife would be up for it since that is our one year anniversary, sounds like a blast though :tu:

If you've never autocrossed before - now is the time! Its VERY fun and pretty addicting :)

Come rep PKG with me! I'm driving all the way to Dubuque for the GTG on the 20th so you guys need to come to Waterloo ;)

You need a helmet to run, but they have those at the track :) Otherwise thats it!

I believe its $30 for non-SCCA members, and $20 for members - well worth it for a fun day of driving and talking cars!

Hmm... autocrossing in a stock 12v 2.8? That might be funny enough to be worth it. Maybe I'll think about showing up!

NO ONE has anything to worry about as far as their car goes... I've seen Metro's, Kia's, and heavy non-handling american muscle cars out there :)

Put those mods to use!

Registration and Tech starts around 9am, drivers meeting shortly after 10 and things usually get started before noon!

Come on ya sissies!

Sounds like its probably gonna rain on Sunday :(

They still run in the rain but it just sucks... not a fan of standing around getting wet. Probably not going anymore.
