FEELER: Cedar Rapids GTG for Oct 6th

Is it too late to try to get an official GTG together for the 6th in Cedar Rapids.

If it is too late would anyone be down for just a small local gathering of CR peoples?

I gotta hit the road on Sunday in the noon hours. So I was thinking Saturday night. Get some pics in and what not. Any one know of some good locations for this in CR or the surronding area?

Well, considering we want some night shots, and dinner would be nicve to have right before, I think it would work best at night... and saturday seems to be the pick of choice!

So let's try to set things in stone for this weekend-

Do all of you like mexican food? We could meet at gringos down town at 6pm. It's hard to miss, right on 1st ave across from the US Cellular Center. A near-by photo shoot will follow :D

How does that sound?

Is Gringos good? I dont want to have to delay the GTG cause we all had to sit on toilets for the following two hours after dinner...But yea downtown could work cause the lights are nice for night shots.

I also got my camera mount and Ive been working on different places to put it, so we could do some sweet outside or the car rolling shots.

It's good food, but there are alot of other places to eat at, that was jsut the first place that came to mind that is down town. Whatever works for me!

The little lady has to work that afternoon/evening. I might cruise to CR to eat with you guys. Dinner around 5 or 6 and pic session afterwards would be great!

PS if anyone from W'loo/CF area wants to ride along that would be great! I'm planning on being back home no later than 9pm. That means leaving CR around 8.

Ill be heading to CR from Ames in teh early AM on Friday. I gotta go drop off my car at Kevins that afternoon. I'll make a poll on the restaurant. Should we say 6pm to meet for dinner, or make it earlier for food like 5 or 530?
