Keep in mind that the second pic isn't my car, but is exactly what my car will look like. I will have Ground Control coilovers and will drop my car to about the same hieght

IMO those are the hottest rims ever and 17x9 weighing in just under 17lbs

I think I can manage. I drive around chicago with my front lip sitting 2" off the ground and oil pan 4.5"

DO IT.
Just the fact that your getting coilovers is a huge plus - that will be awesome!
You wont have to worry about winter because you can adjust it accordingly. I was a bit too low this winter but it wasn't even a factor.

dude i park my grey a4 next to you like 2-3 days a week. im out on mortenson.
I say go for it. I love the way the tops of the tires are tucked. :tu:
