Ordered springs today and I already have the short shift kit.
Installation will be Saturday October 6 @ Suspensions R Us (Gary's house).
EDIT: GTG is going to be postponed, springs didn't arrive in time.
Install #6?
I'll make it if nothing else is going on. :tu:

Start at 1 again? MKIV's don't take as long as MKV's so we should only need about 3-4 hours for everything I would think.

Well, depending on my plans for the day. If I'm not too hungover and not doing anything I may make a trip to DSM. I wouldn't throw any wrenches but I could offer advice if you guys run into some trouble (you won't)

There will be Dr Pepper!!!
I was about ready to have a hissy fit...I hate poor communication and SE Tuning has horrible communication. The only reason I ordered from there is because my brother is friends with the owner. After I ordered my springs, my brother said he would have told me not to order from SE Tuning if I wanted my springs any time soon. I ordered them a week ago Friday and I've emailed multiple times being told they would be shipped...but I didn't get charged and I didn't receive tracking info.
I finally called him today and he him-hawed around and was obviously lying when he said they were in stock, then out of stock, then now they are back in stock. He said he would ship them today or tomorrow. I told him if he couldn't get them here for this weekend to cancel and I'll order from ECS. He said I'll have them...if I don't have them I swear I'm driving to Colorado Springs and keying his entire car.

Sounds like this is going to be cancelled for this weekend, Tony or Jessica can fill in the details, but springs didn't arrive in time so we can't really do an install when the stuff isn't here.... Stay tuned for the rescheduled date.

Here's the deal since Jessica's last post:
He assured us they would arrive before Friday and he knew that was the only reason we continued with his order.
Since then Jessica messaged him and emailed on tuesday. No response. Messaged and emailed wednesday. no response.
So after I got off work yesterday I called him. Imagine that he avoided and didn't answer a call from a 515 area code.
I caught him when he was online on vortex and messaged him - making sure I knew he was avoiding me, and that I knew he was online. Then he got me the tracking info.
Tracking info showed delivery date the 8th. He "claimed" he was on the phone with them right then trying to upgrade. He also "claimed" that he put it through as express shipping when he ordered the drop ship from H&R but they didn't do it.
So screw that. I wasn't very nice about it, but told him I knew he never had it in stock. I also knew the whole "out of stock" stuff he told Jessica was made up because he was drop shipping them to begin with. Since he screwed us and didn't live up to the bargain, I had him change the delivery address because we don't want the springs from him now, and credit us for the entire purchase amount including shipping.
NEVER buy from SE Tuning. Eric is a rich spoiled kid that started this business on other peoples money and has no regard for customer service or his companies reputation. Unless you are at an event and can buy it from him in person, or watch him call in the order, it's not worth the trouble. I'd rather pay more to get the same springs from ECS.

Oh - and even though we ordered them on 9/21, the UPS tracking showed that the billing info was sent to UPS at 7:30PM CST on 10/2. As of last night at 6pm they were on their way from Washington state to Montana.

Sorry to hear of the problems with SE Tuning, I have heard lots of people having issues with them in the past. Hopefully the credit comes back quickly (another shady area with SE Tuning) and you guys can get the springs from a reliable source.
