Jess (dubgteye) and I own a house in Johnston and we have an extra bedroom we're looking to possibly rent. The house is 3 bedroom, and the third we don't use for anything right now. There's also 3 bathrooms so whoever would rent from us would have their own full bathroom for use by them and not us. The kitchen/living area would be shared.
There would be offstreet parking in our driveway.
The house is right between Merle Hay Road and Beaver, just north of the interstate so it's easy access.
Utilities would be included in the rent price, so you won't have to pay any extra for heat/internet/phone/water/etc. We're looking to charge $400/month total - good luck finding an apartment cheaper than that...

We already have 2 dogs (Westie and Beagle) and a cat. While we are pretty pet friendly and all, we made a decision not to allow any pets with anyone renting. Sorry.

you should browse roommate.com (i think thats the site) anyways, you could prob find a renter REAL EASY!

We don't want just anyone to rent from us though - otherwise we'd do craigslist too. It doesn't have to be a close friend or anything, but friend of a friend or something would at least feel a little better about giving someone a key to our house.

How much to just rent it out and put in a series of grow lamps and timers? Maybe a small pump and a bunch of pvc piping?
