Dubuque GTG II :: Saturday, October 20th

H'okay...so...

I have decided that the Dubuque fall GTG will take place...


WHEN: on Saturday, October 20th. If the weather looks like it will be crappy, we'll shoot for the 21st. I'll give you plenty of notice! :tu:

PLEASE READ!! UPDATED 10-18-07!! WHERE: the parking lot of Hardee's, 2100 Twin Valley Drive, in Dubuque. I will try to get there early and park out front...I have a funeral to go to Saturday morning but I think I'll have plenty of time to get there and flag you guys down. :) I changed the meeting place due to the DSM peeps meeting up with the CR dudes, plus it won't be out of the way for the QCers! Plus it's only a few minutes away from the park! The Hardee's is easy to locate; once you get into Dubuque, go to the second set of lights and hang a left; you will pass a Casey's and McDonald's on the left and a Kwik Stop and Dairy Queen on the right before the stoplights. :tu:

WHAT TIME: High noon. But we all know not everyone will be there on time. ;) Once everyone arrives, we'll caravan to Murphy Park. It worked out great (minus the bitchy Park Nark) last time so I figure why mess with a good thing? It also worked out great that everyone signed up to bring a dish to pass and a few of us would chip in on meat, buns, etc beforehand. Think about what you want to bring and post it up! I can keep tabs on who's bringing what in this post. :tu:

CRUISE ROUTE: I think it would work best to stay on the highways and far away from stoplights :mad:. I'm going to discuss my projected route with Dub 1.8T and I will update this post in the next few days. :tu:

I am still looking to show up for this event, car came back in one piece from the Black Hills. Well i should have said almost didnt come back in one piece. I pulled onto universty ave in Waterloo/CF area cause i missed my turn off for 218 and as i was driving through town a stupid deer was sitting in the middle of the road at 12am and i was able to stop the car about 1-2 feet infront of him.

Chad is correct. I had a problem with the driver side rear strut. Ben and I were able to get it fixed up though. :tu:
