Picked up a 99 ranger not too long ago, little bit of a drivetrain problem, but all in all, decent. Pictures look kinda crappy, didn't have time to crop them yet. I figure she will get me around through the snow, maybe help tow my vw around.

Haha, you brought this thing back from the dead... I've stopped towing with the diesel for now (I'm using the Ranger) until I can get a new transmission for the dodge. It's slipping more then I would like.

Wow really nice truck although I gotta say that I like the dodge better. Diesel trucks are kinda cool, I love watching them leave a cloud of soot everywhere when they take off. Any plans for the Ranger?

Pffff, the diesel is by far MUCH better than the Ranger. But the ranger gets me around cheaper.

You've obviously already noticed my other thread though. I'm just the local sh*t talker around these parts and don't really mean anything by it, I just poke fun and push buttons but it's all good at the end of the day. It's just the internet, the worlds #1 place for sh*t talking.

But I'm just throwing the drivetrain and suspension together so I can tow with it if I ever need to. Throwing in a beefier rear (31 spline, LSD, rear disc) axle, new leaf springs, an air system to help support the rear suspension, I've already got my trailer brakes wired up to a controller, when I've got everything all set, I'll bring the front end up another 2 inches to level it with the rear (most trucks come from the factory with a rake stance). I might put a little wider tire on it (265s instead of 245s) but in a nutshell, that's it. Other than a catback exhaust, intake and spray on bedliner.

Just a truck, being used for truck things.

By the way, if you ever think I'm stepping over a line, just say "KooK, back up a bit there." Normally I'll rethink before I post again.
