I picked up a 00 golf 4 door 1.8t last weekend. Got it a little north of the twin cities and it still has a clean title. Pretty ez fix. The girl that owned it went in the ditch and messed up the frontend. I just replaced the right control arm,strut,inner and outer tie rods,caliper,and axle today. Mike and i also put a new passenger door on. I am just going to use it as a daily driver and sell my 97 vr6 gti. I figured i have enough vr6's and wouldn't mind having a mk4 as a daily. Check out the red leather interior:D

nice find!!! i'm guessing the red interior is custom but it looks pretty good. thats awsome to find a 1.8T 4 door, thats very rare. i believe those were known as the 'driver edition' Golfs basically just a different title for a GTI....

what are your plans for it?

thanks, yes they are pretty rare. Wasn't sure about the red interior before i picked it up but it is kind of cool. It was professionally done so it looks nice.
I will probably just do stuff to it here and there. I do have some blacked out hella headlights coming and maybe lower it in the future. the girl had some 17 inch borbet wheels that i gave her $200 for so i am going to put those on too.
