I can't believe I get nothing on this...
It's not a feeler anymore - this is a for sale vehicle. I'll lower the price to $16,500 which is pretty firm since it's quite a bit under KBB value.

Would've done that instead of my focus if it was $13k

psssh - should have done anything but a Focus. Sure they may have some market in Europe now but I've driven one and those are just lame cars. You get some of the styling and feel of a Euro, but the cheap feel in the interior like everything else Ford makes.

Wish you were a car dealer so I could just trade the jeep in:mad:

What kind of Jeep? After I sell this I'm planning on getting something 4x4 for the winters... if it's a little older, but still decent mileage I may be interested.
tried to get bailey interested in this but she is stuck on a 20th GTI :banghead:

There are very few differences between this and a 20th...
1. 2 more doors.
2. Trunk vs. Hatch.
3. 20ths had a little badge with a 4-digit number
4. Golf-ball ugly shift knob.
5. Any 20th will have more miles and be 1 year older.
6. My Jetta still has some warranty left - no 20th will.
7. Jetta = cheaper insurance.
*edit... the RCs are way more awesome, easier to clean, and much more desireable than the lame Aristos.

Pending driving on each side, and financing or whatever, I would be willing to take a trade. 11k (to payoff my loan) and the Jeep?

Hmmm, well first I'd have to go talk to the bank and see just where I stand... can't really do that till Tuesday though. Does your car still have warranty of any kind? I am interested, but like I say I'd have to talk to the bank Tuesday...

it had a 4 year/50k mile bumper to bumper and 5 year/60k mile powertrain.
I bought it in July 2004 so it still has a year of full warranty and 2 years on the powertrain. And you'd have to put some serious mileage to shorten that at all. If you're interested, talk to the bank (credit unions are usually easier too) and see if you'd be able to get the funds, and if that part checks out, let me know and we'll set it up to take a look.

Right decision. Blue Lagoon GLI's make me drool. One of the best special edition VW's EVER. Hang on to that sucka for awhile. Unless of course you want a Corrado + cash...but the wife would have to deal with that one...not sure she would want another jetta.
