Hi there, I'm MrFlippant. I've had my '97 A4 since Feb '07, and loved every minute! I joined here a while back, but so far haven't been very active since I spend most of my time over on AudiForums.com; but I'd like to talk to a more local crowd too, so here I am!

By the way, how did you find out about us?

I parked next to you outside Century 20 at Jordan Creek once. Wasn't sure about what your Euro plate meant, but it looked cool and I eventually stumbled across a reference to the site somewhere and figured it out.

I saw there's a GTG on Sep. 1, but I work Saturdays 3p-10:30p so I probably won't make it. I'll keep an eye on the calander though, and as soon as I can fit an event into my schedule, I'll be there.

Awesome, thanks a bunch! Right now I'm still primarily working on getting it as close as possible to stock condition (a few interior cosmetic flaws, and a nasty key scratch on the exterior). I'm going to see about getting a custom exhaust in the next couple weeks though, with b-day money.:D

Haha! That is awesome! Glad to hear that my euro plate is creating some interest ;)

As far as Sept. 1 goes, it's only officially scheduled from 6-10pm, but Mark (the owner of the restaurant) says he doesn't officially have to close up shop until 2am. I doubt we'll be there til then, but feel free to stop by after work if you've got the time. I could even give you my number in case you wanted to call and see if we are still out there. :tu:

Yeah, the driver's side looks nice; it's the passenger side that'll make you wince. Someone apparently had an issue with the previous owner.
