Need a Jetta or Passat for around 10 or 11,000. Lower miles preferably, she will use it for interstate travel often. Keep your eyes peeled! Thanks :D :hoff:
sorry marcus :p

Interstate == 1.8T with tip or doesn't matter?
(You don't want mine but wondered what to look for.)

go with a passat 1.8T -- bit more reliable than the jettas and a backseat & trunk that is far more usable :tu:
1.8T manuals also get pretty good milage too -- bout 30-32 on hwy :D

I heard that the jetta's flux capacitor is far more reliable in a side by side comparision with the passat....especially when paired with a 1.8t and manual transmission.
I hope this helps :)

I will not be nailing my wife in the trunk on a regular basis, so that is not something we are too concerned about :p

Sure... Go with a Passat if you want something big, heavy, ugly, and underpowered.
My GLI is for sale - more money than you're looking for but it's a lot more awesome and only has 27k miles.
