well, i just got done installing my cams and ecu software, and am curious where i am at for #'s.

i'm getting ready to do a downpipe & high flow cat and want to get some base numbers, especially since i believe my cat is fubar

btw i know most of you are in the des moines/ames area and i was looking for something in c.r./i.c. area possibly.

and how much does it cost? i've seen like $50 for 2 pulls somewhere else on the net....

I was also going to suggest Midstate Machine, but they're in Des Moines. I was down there for their grand opening a couple years ago.

(wishful thinking mode) Is the one in Des Moines a 4 wheel dyno?

One is DSM is only a 2 wheel dyno. I have also heard there was one in Dubuque.

not that at all its because 4 wheel dynos are retareded expensive (well over double the 20-30k of a good two wheel setup) plus with the exceptions of the VW and audi boys everyone else has temporary two wheel conversions that can be done to dyno the things. actually one of thier best customers is a group of spec miata racers

I can dyno in FWD mode (just get under the car and unplug the Haldex controller) but dammit, I have an AWD car, I wanna dyno it in AWD mode to get real world numbers...

If there's one here, i haven't heard about it. Most of my friends went to Madison to pull. Otherwise we did it in Indianapolis at the Indy Car and Truck bash.
