Help with Tails

Need opinions guys..

Starting to finally start spending now that I got those sweet things called "finances" in order and I'm going to order my tails within the next few weeks, but I cant' decide on what ones.

I'm going with clear blinkers and clear bumper markers and lighter colored rims, thinking of going with Aristos :hungry:

Anyway, here are my top tail choices (in no particular order, just amount of clear-ness to it)

Remember, my car is Indigo Blue!

Hard to make a decision on the tails though. I'd need some better pictures to look at. I can already say I'm against the all-clears though.

I can tell you they're not my number one choice either.. I'm just leaving the option open for some odd reason as it does fit into what i want.

I have just never seen a pair of clear tails that don't look nasty or uber ricey. I thought it might look great on the right car, but I don't know that it would be on a dark blue car.

I did my best to do it really quick and what I had to work with but I think it will work. After seeing them I like the ones that look most like what you have the last ones. Oh yeah and the first one is the pic you posted and the second one is the first changed to red like you said is that right

R/C/C/R for me! They look different from stock, but still very subtile. ;) :tu:

I'm also potentially thinking about getting the R/C/C/R, having them on for a while, if it's not "just right" for me, contact someone to tint the red parts like Jake had done with his tails. Since it is sand, spray, clear coat, I'm assuming it would be a similar process except just taping off/secluding the clear from the red..) That is just an idea if I'm not happy with it if I go with them as my final choice....

I still like the oceans though. :eek:

So you're talking about smoking the two clear sections if you don't like em clear, correct? I think that would be easy enough. You could even try it with some tint film to see if you liked the look.

Opposite of that Mike :D I'd try tinting the red and leaving the clear.

For some reason I just don't like.. the random red on the tails when the rest of my car will be following a blue-clear look. But I don't want ALL clear tails.. I'm just odd... it's the color-schemes of my artbrain saying, WTF!!!!

I say none. If I had to pick I would pick #3, but if you are going with smoked sides DON'T go clear in the back. Clear tails just make cars look ickey. Pick up some S/R/R/S or the like.

I'm not going with smoked anything as of yet.. I have clear bumper markers on the way and I intended to keep my clear side blinkers..

AND I had my confirmation last nigth that I don't want to do the all-clear tails at all.. Altima with fogged out yellowy clear tails convinced me of that.. :sly:

I don't know. I think on ind. blue that smoked sides and tails look best, but to each his own, or on this case her own :)

:D We'll see. If I decide I don't like the clear look, I can always sell it on the tex and rebuy. It's not like they're easy-to-apply bolt on parts or anything.. :laugh:

FTW IMO these are the nicest tails for the mk4 gti.

I'm getting these then I'll be smoked all the way around: headlights, markers, repeaters :tu:
