New laptops/desktops are getting so cheap... I spent about $1100 for mine two years ago when I could get it now for less than $750 probably.

$350!?!?!?!? I take it that if this is a new laptop, it's got 512mb of RAM & Vista Home Basic :puke As a computer tech, I've seen how terrible these machines are. 512mb was great for XP, but Vista Basic barely putts along, and is good only for light web browsing and maybe using Word... Even then you have to wait longer for everything to load up. If you want to use more programs in the future, good luck!

My suggestion for a new computer... Make sure it has at least 1gb of RAM and Home PREMIUM. And for a laptop, I would recommend an AMD processor, they use less power than Intel, plus Intel uses their crappy video card :s:. All of our AMDs use NVIDIA graphics cards.

If your uneasy about the new OS, try to find an XP Pro laptop. Mine has 512mb RAM, an AMD Turion Processor, and an ATI graphics card, which can handle most of what i use it for.

lol...I was kidding with Jeremy, who sold me a laptop. He said he was in need of money, so I offered to buy a laptop from him to help him out. I'm not looking for a laptop. it was just kinda joke betwen me and Jeremy. hehe...sorry for the confusion.
