Does anyone know how to do this? I had a bunch of awesome midi ringers made from super mario games uploaded by using http://makeanythingaringtone.com/, but that was getting pricey, and now that I have Verizon, the web site won't work for me at all.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction? :drive:

With Verizon, sorry to say it but you're ***ked. I have Verizon and all we pretty much can do is buy the shiiitee they offer. Sucks.
The best service for personal ringtones is Cingular.

So untrue. Just get a cable for your phone and the program bitpim to upload the ringers. You can go to howardforums.com to get all the cell phone info you will ever need!!

Hmm...so can I use the same USB cable I use to put mp3 music on my phone or do I have to buy a different one?

Hmm I did custom midi sounds on my BB by putting the midi up on a website and then downloaded it onto my BB to use

Do you happen to remember what that website was?

Yes, that should work fine. Download bitpim, it's free and you can upload ringers, photos, back up your phone book, etc.

I tried Bitpim and a usb to mini usb cable on my Verizon Razor (3m?) and can't get it to talk. Which phone you have?
Also, can I pull pics off of it with Bitpim?

If you can't get it to work go to howardforums.com and search your phone. Sometimes you have to have the phone plugged in before you start bitpim, each phone is different. Yes, I can get pics from my phone from bitpim through the view filesystem feature. I have an LG VX8100.

I uploaded MP3 ringers to 3GUPLOAD.COM for a while on my A900.
Now with my Motorola Q, bluetooth does the job for ringers...I think I even have a few dub videos on my memory card.
Oh, I have Sprint as well :tu:

You're welcome dude. You can also pull pics off of it too, but I can't remember the file structure to get to them if they are in the phone memory. Just search Howardforums for that.

I got bitpim to work.
It refused to work when my laptop was docked.
Undocked, 1 out of 3 USB ports work. Pictures came off like a charm.
Thanks all!
